During an interview on Fox News on Monday house speaker Kevin McCarthy suggested that Republicans might actually impeach Attorney General Merrick Garland. And the thing they would be impeaching him for is something that doesn't even exist. But McCarthy says if it does exist, even though he knows it doesn't, then they're totally gonna do it. Maybe, probably, but also probably not. McCarthy said, if it comes true, what the i r s whistleblower is saying, we're going to start impeachment inquiries on the Attorney General. Now, in case you're not familiar with the latest Republican whistleblower, um, what happened late last week is you had a whistleblower from the IRS allege that Merrick Garland intentionally interfered with the investigation into Hunter Biden. It's, it was a pretty shocking allegation, right? I mean, the Attorney General of the United States interfering in an investigation into the President's son, that's a big deal.

But once you actually look at what this whistleblower is alleging, you realize how stupid all of this actually is, which of course is why McCarthy is just suggesting that if what the whistleblower says is true, then they'll consider impeachment. If he actually believed what the whistleblower has told them, he would've said, we're going to impeach him. Just so you understand the fact that Republicans know that, once again, their little whistleblower has turned into a giant nothing burger, you know, just like it did with the Weaponization committee, just like the previous, uh, hunter Biden whistleblower, and those 17 tapes that Republicans now say don't even exist, and the Dur Durham report, it's all a bunch of distraction just like this IRS whistleblower. So again, what exactly did Merrick Garland do that this whistleblower says was interfering with the investigation that, by the way, was being carried out by a Trump appointed US attorney? Well, according to this whistleblower, get this, Merrick Garland wouldn't appoint that US attorney, was it David Weiss, right? David Weiss. He wouldn't appoint him as a special prosecutor to investigate Hunter Biden be because he was already a US attorney investigating Hunter Biden. Now, according to this mysterious IRS whistleblower, David Weiss allegedly approached Merrick Garland and said, I want to be a special prosecutor investigating Hunter Biden instead of just the US attorney, because then I have more powers to do the things I want to do. Do it. That's it. Those are the allegations folks, all of this IRS whistleblower to take down. That's, that's what, that's what this is. That's how stupid this is. That's what this idiot is alleging, that Merrick Garland interfered by not making the guy a special prosecutor to do the investigation that he was already doing. And that's what Kevin McCarthy says. Maybe we'll impeach him for that. Well, Merrick Garland, who by the way, does have a record of these things because you don't just walk up to the Attorney General and say, Hey, how about making me a special prosecutor? You would submit a formal request. Now, Merrick Garland has come out and said, I was never asked this. Like this isn't a thing that even happened. So I don't understand. Like Merrick Garland is genuinely confused. Like, I don't even know why this is happening, because it never happened in the first place.

And I say that as someone who has repeatedly told you, I don't care if Hunter Biden goes to prison. If he committed a crime, please arrest him.
