Recently, conservative pollster, Frank Luntz, decided to head on up to Iowa, the first contest for the Republican party. Democrats have shifted their agenda. They're starting with South Carolina, not Iowa, but Iowa is still the big contest for the Republican party. So Luntz, again, conservative pollster headed up there and he assembled a panel of Republican voters, evangelical Republican voters, a panel that mostly agrees that the 2020 election was stolen for some reason. So we're talking about like Trump believing voters. And yes, that is important to point out that these people are, you know, very clearly buying into everything Trump says, because this evangelical group of Republican, Iowa voters also had a warning for Frank Luntz. Now, the warning was to him because he was there, the warning is more for Donald Trump and the entire Republican party. And that warning is simple, and it's this, Donald Trump has not attracted a single new voter in this election cycle.

And let me read you this quote from one of the panelists that Luntz had assembled there. This panelist said, do you know of any people that now support Trump that didn't support him? Then he's only losing voters. They went on to say that the people who flipped from Trump to Biden in 2020 are not flipping back, right? They have no reason to flip back right now. But what I love about this statement is, of course, it's the same thing that I've been saying for quite a while here, and that is that Donald Trump's not bringing in anybody new, and he's lost quite a few of the people that he had had in the past. I mean, God only knows how many scores of them, tens of thousands, uh, unfortunately died from C O V I D after they voted in the 2020 election. That's a thing that is going to hurt Donald Trump's numbers in the 2024 election.

It, it's a little morbid. It's not something people want to talk about, but you look at the numbers, you know, we've talked about the stories here. You had more Republicans die from Covid after the vaccines became available right after ch, right? As Trump was leaving office. Basically more Republicans died than Democrats. That's simple fact that's going to come back and haunt the Republicans. Honestly, I think it did in 2022, because nobody wanted to think about it or talk about it. But I think that's one of the reasons, one of the reasons Republicans performed so poorly. But when you have a coalition of voters that has a strong base, right? But that base is a little on the wacky extreme side, the dangerous side almost, well, not almost, they are. That also turns off the voters. It's not just Donald Trump. It's not just the crazy things he says on true social. It's not just his bombastic

Personality. It's not just his constant whining about 2020, it's his supporters. Because you have other more moderate, normal Republican voters out there who might be, okay, yeah, I don't hate Trump, but I'm not, I don't want to be one of those people. I don't want to have to drive around with a giant, you know, 12 foot Trump flag hanging off the back of my car. I don't want to be associated with that, and it turns more people off. So Trump has a very real electoral problem, which is another reason, by the way, I say don't believe these polls that are out right now that show Biden only beating Trump by four percentage points. The only reason those polls are that close is because Biden has lost voters too. But when it's all said and done, and we do have our two clear candidates emerged, which it definitely will be Biden on the Democratic side, unless he decides to drop out, it'll be Trump on the Republican side.
