Republican representative Anna Paulina Looney Tunes recently got busted using the clawed AI program to allegedly write an amendment to legislation that of course was currently making its way through the House of Representatives. And what happened was that screenshots started circulating online from her website where she posted this amendment like look what I'm gonna do but they had left the AI prompt in there. Her and her staff forgot to remove that pesky little AI clawed responded part of the AI prompt. So that was available for all of the world to see. And of course it caused huge embarrassment for Anna Paulina Luna. So in response to this, media outlets decided to ask her like, "Hey, uh, why are you using AI to write legislation? That's that's not okay. That's dangerous." and she said, "First of all, by the way, everybody does it.
Everybody's doing it is her excuse. Everybody is doing it. It is a quote widespread practice," she said. And I hate to sound like our parents growing up, but Anna, if everybody was jumping off a bridge, would you jump? Because if so, I could probably organize people to start jumping off a bridge and you know, if you want to join them. But, uh, you know, I kid, of course. Um, that's not an excuse. Like, why did you do it? Well, because everybody was doing it. First of all, I don't think everybody is doing it. Second of all, even if they are, that's just horrible. Third of all, her second excuse for why she did it, actually negates the first one. Because then after she said, "I did it because everybody's doing it." She then said, "I actually also didn't do it." Because that was just an AI summary of the legislation,
but you just said it wasn't. And then in the same breath, you're like, "But I also the thing I just said I did, I totally didn't do because I actually did it to to to get a summary of it." You know, because even though I have all these staffers that are paid for with tax dollars who could write a summary of it in, you know, about five minutes, we didn't want to do that. So, we use AI. So, her story immediately changed literally from one sentence to the next. So, who knows what to believe? I mean, in my opinion, this woman is definitely, you know, a little out there. Uh, she is hardcore MAGA, by the way, for those not familiar with Anna Paulina Luna. And the amendment that she may or may not have used AI to write, actually directs the Pentagon to start sending members of the United States military to the southern border. Not just National Guard, but we're going to have the Army, maybe even the Navy. Could have the Marines down there. We might even have Seal Team Six.
working the border, which by the way is allegedly the most secure border we've ever had in the history of the United States. So I don't even know why her little pandering to Trump amendment would need to be passed in the first place cuz none of this makes any sense whatsoever. But she wants to pander to the hardcore racists in her Florida district. And that's what she's doing, thinking it's going to gain her a couple extra votes. It probably will, unfortunately, because as a Florida man myself, I can tell you things are getting dumber and dumber in this state by the day.
