14:38Now PlayingSt. Olympia was a deaconess in the early church who we primarily know through her friendship with St. John Chrysostom. When the latter was exiled for speaking out against the empress, St. Olympia fell into a deep despair. Over the course of three years, St. John Chrysostom sent her 17 letters, trying to help her through this mental anguish. In them, we find deep pastoral wisdom and insight for how to deal with mental health struggles.
