About once a month Hawk scrolls Donald Trump's Truth Social feed to see what is accumulating there. The last day and a half produced a lot.
Nine or so AI generated images of Trump alongside George Washington, several posted around four in the morning. The ballroom recast as a military installation with a drone port on the roof. Repeated Trump 2028 graphics.
That last one is where the video gets serious. The 22nd Amendment bars any person from being elected president more than twice. It does not say serve. Steve Bannon has pointed at exactly that gap and claims to have scholars working the question. Hawk's view is that the posts are absurd and also cannot be waved off, because the man who would not leave after one term is not going to leave after two.
The George Washington fixation carries its own irony. Washington's most consequential act was walking away after two terms because the country needed the precedent more than it needed him.
