During Operation Paperclip the United States brought German scientists to America do work for them. Were these scientists like Wernher von Braun, Walter Schreiber and Kurt H. Debus not political? Can they be seen as 'good Germans'? Regarding their work on the V-2 rockets and the slave labour involved it's debatable if these German scientists were innocent. They worked on the Wonder Weapons (Wunderwaffe) the Germans hoped to win the Second World War. When that war was over the Cold War started and these scientists had to play an important role for the Americans...
