9:12Now PlayingLondon Protest: Tens of thousands of protesters gathered in central London on Saturday for the controversial “Unite The Kingdom” rally, where demonstrators erupted against UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer with anti-government chants, anti-immigration slogans and calls to remove Labour from power.
The rally, linked to activist Tommy Robinson, saw huge crowds march through Westminster carrying Union Jack flags and banners reading “Labour Out Now,” “Get Keir Out,” and “Unite The Kingdom, Unite The West.” London’s Metropolitan Police estimated turnout at around 60,000 people, with nearly 4,000 officers deployed across the capital amid heavy security and clashes with counter-protesters.
Footage from the event showed Tommy Robinson preparing to address the crowd from a large stage, where he reportedly urged supporters to prepare for a “battle of Britain.” Counter-protesters were also seen confronting marchers before several were detained by police. Many protesters directed fierce criticism at Prime Minister Keir Starmer. One demonstrator accused him of being part of an “elitist cabal” and creating a “two-tier system” that puts the interests of “indigenous people” last.
“Well, one he’s a wanker. No, but on a serious note, he's a liar. He's a liar, and he's a traitor,” said protester Richard. “He's just had the worst slapping on the local elections that he could have had… Look around you. The country's already in chaos,” he added. The rally also featured anti-immigration rhetoric, with one attendee insisting: “Shariah law just doesn't belong in this country.” The demonstration unfolded alongside a separate pro-Palestinian protest in London, highlighting deep political divisions and rising tensions across Britain
