The single-family home is the *essence* of the American dream. For generations, it’s been the number one asset for families. You cannot have private equity giants like Blackstone—using money from overseas "investors" in China—exploiting the carried interest tax loophole to buy up our single family homes, and force Americans out of ownership and into a lifetime of renting.
That’s unacceptable and un-American. Single family homes are for families, not hedge funds.
