"By going to Israel, by standing with Israel in the way that he did ... (Biden) earned himself enormous capital on the ground," he said.
Biden delivered an Oval Office address Thursday, in which he argued that the U.S. is obligated to help Israel.
On Friday, Biden sent a $105 billion budget request to Congress, including about $14 billion in aid for Israel that would mainly help with air and missile defense systems.
