Secoriea Turner, 8, was in a car entering a parking lot. The Mayor stated that there were over 75 shootings in the past several weeks.
Phoenix police shoot and kill a man in a parked car. A Witness phone and police body cameras recorded the shooting. The Police stated that the officers fired after the man refused to drop his gun. A bodycam video shows police pulling a gun from the vehicle. At least four officers surrounded the vehicle before firing.
It is the 4-year anniversary of Dallas police ambush. Twelve officers were shot and five were killed during the protest on July 7, 2016. Sniper targeted officers on top of the parking garage. The suspect said he was upset over the black lives matter movement.
