8:16Now PlayingPolice bodycam video shows a suspect, 31-year-old Mylik Hill, shooting a police officer during a foot chase in Indianapolis. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department released bodycam video with a summary of the events including footage from private security cameras. Authorities claim Hill fired two shots with at least one of them striking Officer Thomas Mangan in the neck. A second officer discharged his firearm and struck Hill multiple times before he fled into an alley. Hill was located hiding in a citizens backyard shortly after. The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office charged Hill with attempted murder, six counts of resisting law enforcement, criminal mischief, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
