21:48Now PlayingThe trial for Anthony Todt, the man accused of murdering his wife, kids and family dog in 2019, starts Monday. Todt has blamed his wife for the killings in a letter to his father, but prosecutors said he also made repeated confessions to detectives in the mere hours and days after investigators found the bodies.
In other news, Robert Goodwin took the stand in the trial of former Olympian Michael Barisone who is charged with two counts of attempted murder. One of Barisone's attempted murder charges stems from Goodwin, when Barisone fired his gun toward Goodwin, after firing two shots into Goodwin’s fiance’s chest. Plus, Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz had his second day of hearings on Friday. These hearings come ahead of a sentencing phase which is expected to begin on Monday, April 4. Finally, the prosecution rests its case in the federal trial of accused Sarah Lawrence College cult leader Lawrence Ray. Court resumes Monday when the defense will begin their case.
