3:00Now PlayingPolice bodycam video shows a shootout with a suspect that left two officers shot in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The suspect, 32-year-old Dustin Levell Saffell, had multiple outstanding warrants for his arrest. Police saw Saffell's car in the driveway of a home and approached his vehicle to arrest him. Upon their approach, Saffell exited the vehicle with a firearm and began shooting at the two officers without any words being exchanged. After two rounds of gunfire, both officers and the suspect were hit. Sgt. Reginald Gee, whose bodycam video is shown, was hit in the leg and chest while wearing a bulletproof vest. Gee was taken to a nearby hospital to receive surgery for the wounds and remains in stable condition. Sgt. Blake Kinzler was shot three times and was treated successfully, then released from the hospital. The suspect succumbed to his wounds.
