16:26Now PlayingFlorida Keys sheriff's deputies arrested an allegedly drunk man they say was attempting to outrun officers at speeds of over 100mph. The Law&Crime Network obtained bodycam footage from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office showing the incident unfolding On July 10. The pursuit began when an officer observed 26-year-old Donovan William Rojas speeding on a Florida highway. When the officer activated his emergency lights, Rojas allegedly sped up and reached a speed of almost 110mph. During the 4-mile pursuit, officers observed the vehicle swerving and nearly hitting other vehicles on the road. When Rojas stopped his vehicle, he identified himself as a Miami-Dade police officer when confronted by the deputies. Deputies say Rojas appeared to be intoxicated and had trouble standing up straight. Rojas was arrested and is facing charges of fleeing and eluding, along with suspected DUI. Following the arrest, Rojas was relieved of his duties at the Miami-Dade Police Department without pay.
