After two of Ruby Franke’s children were found bruised and covered with duct tape, her husband, Kevin Franke, was questioned by Utah police. In his interview on August 30, 2023, Kevin Franke said he trusted Jodi Hildebrandt and claimed she was a very honest and truthful person. When police told him what had happened to his children, he said “this sounds like a made up story” and it sounded like “a horror movie.”
