20:07Now PlayingPanic erupted in Clinton Township when a man was found bleeding in his driveway on July 3, 2024, telling neighbors that his girlfriend, 29-year-old Jennifer Hayes, had stabbed him more than a dozen times while he slept. The victim survived 14 stab wounds, including one to the neck , and Hayes was later arrested and charged with assault with intent to murder and aggravated domestic violence, posting a $250,000 bond before trial. In November 2025, a Macomb County jury convicted Hayes, and she was sentenced to 10½ to 30 years in prison. Law&Crime’s Elizabeth Millner goes Inside the Crime.
