as posted by the channelIn July 2023, a driver barreled through a crowded parking lot outside a community services building in Miami Gardens, striking three people and killing 67-year-old grandmother Patricia Garner in what witnesses insisted was an intentional act. Police identified 62-year-old Sharon Leola Cox as the driver after spotting her gray Toyota Tacoma at her home, and she was arrested and later charged with leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death and serious injury. After a rejected plea deal and outrage from the victim’s family, who were especially furious that she never said “I’m sorry,” Cox ultimately pleaded guilty and was sentenced to four years in prison, followed by probation and additional penalties.
