Despite conflicting witness descriptions, police located 18-year-old Willis Trueblood Jr. and his damaged vehicle within hours, and he admitted he panicked and drove away after the crash. He later pleaded no contest to leaving the scene of a deadly crash and was sentenced to eight years in prison, with a mandatory minimum of four years.
