as posted by the channel

Jose Soto-Escalera is facing two counts of first-degree murder for the death of his 23-year-old girlfriend, Tania Wise, and their unborn child. Wise was found face down in a drainage ditch in St. Lucie County, Florida on August 24, 2018. She was eight and a half months pregnant when she was killed. Soto-Escalera was married to another woman at the time of the murders. According to witnesses, Soto-Escalera gave Wise money for an abortion, but the victim did not follow through with the procedure, choosing to have the baby. Out of anger, investigators believe Soto-Escalera murdered Wise and the baby.
