as posted by the channelJeffrey Spence, 67, is accused of killing his daughter’s boyfriend, Kirby Carpenter, in late 2022. Authorities found Carpenter dead from a gunshot wound outside the Mississippi home he shared with Spence’s daughter, Caitlin. Jeffrey Spence, his wife Karen Spence, 65, and Caitlin Spence were all arrested for the death of Carpenter. Caitlin pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact in April, and just before trial was supposed to begin, her mother, Karen, pleaded guilty to accessory after the fact of grand larceny. Both are expected to testify against Jeffrey in the trial. Jeffrey is charged with capital murder and two counts of grand larceny and conspiracy.
