Prosecutors alleged that oil crosses were left visible on hallway walls, benches, and the courtroom doors. While the judge noted he could not make a formal ruling on the matter, the prosecution stated they simply wanted the behavior placed on the official record. Apodaca is currently on trial for murder, facing accusations that he used manipulative text messages to coerce his girlfriend into killing a woman with a sword.
