12:16Now PlayingLindsay Clancy told her psychiatric nurse that she felt “not heard” as she worried she was becoming dependent on a medication she had been taking daily for about 2½ weeks. Rebecca Jollotta testified that she did not believe Clancy was experiencing addiction or dependency at the time, but explained the difference between dependence and addiction and recommended limiting the medication to every other night. Clancy later sent a message saying she felt “concerningly numb” and like she was “going to die,” but did not care. Clancy is accused of killing her three young children inside the family’s Massachusetts home in January 2023 before attempting to take her own life.
