8:30Now PlayingDr. Renee Stonebridge, a forensic and neuropathology expert with the Massachusetts Chief Medical Examiner’s Office, testified about her examinations of Cora, Dawson and Callen Clancy. She found hemorrhaging around Cora and Dawson’s eyes that was consistent with an asphyxial event, while Callen’s brain showed swelling and hypoxic-ischemic changes caused by a lack of blood and oxygen. During the testimony, Lindsay Clancy was also seen holding hands with her attorney in the courtroom. Stonebridge testified that the brain can begin dying after roughly 6 to 8 minutes without oxygen, depending on the circumstances.
