While YouGov poll found 64 per cent of viewers thought Starmer came out on top, Cleverly stresses that he thought his party leader was victorious.
He also responds to his Tory colleague Grant Shapps' warning of a Labour ‘supermajority.’
The Defence Secretary claims The Conservatives are fighting to prevent Starmer winning a majority even bigger than Labour’s 1997 landslide victory.
“I don’t think it’s unreasonable to discuss that prospect. That said, it’s not changing my behaviour," Cleverly admits.
