The Lib Dems Leader is set to call for talks to begin immediately, urging ministers to be ‘far more positive, far more ambitious’.
In Ms Badenoch's significant speech of 2025, Badenoch will criticise the Labour government, as well as her own party.
She will highlight the repeated pledges to reduce immigration, despite an increase in numbers, and the promise of achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 without a clear plan in place.
Badenoch has vowed to deliver difficult truths in order to restore public trust, even when the message is hard to hear.
