The year-long legal struggle came to a close, with Rupert Murdoch's son Lachlan set to control the news group.
Under the agreement Lachlan Murdoch will oversee the ongoing conservative leaning of Fox News, The New York Post, and the Wall Street Journal.
Lachlan will be in control of a new trust whilst his siblings Prudence MacLeod, Elisabeth Murdoch, and James Murdoch will cease being beneficiaries of any trust with shares in Fox or News Corp.
This comes after years of tension between the media mogul and three of his children over the future of the newspapers and television networks.
