(Note: this video relates to protests on the first night in Ballymena - consequent nights have seen other elements come in to engage in recreational rioting).
Rioting this week showed how the West could slide into civil war.
Not the riots in Los Angeles - that's the usual leftist street tantrum - but the riots in Ballymena in Northern Ireland.
They were sparked by reports of horrific sexual assaults against 13 year old girls by Roma youth, following unprecedented levels of immigration into the area.
The reason I think they're so notable is firstly that the locals tried to resolve this situation democratically - but been ignored by politicians. The politicians pushed them to take matters into their own hands.
And secondly; the authorities were completely powerless to stop the rioters carrying out their specific task of targeting the homes of suspected Roma troublemakers. People will see this and know that if they've got the numbers, the police can't stop them.
We've got a long hot summer ahead of us and Britain already feels like it's on a knife edge. Let's hope the politicians start listening to people before it's too late.
