The one immutable law of advertising is that an advert for something negative - whether it's gambling, euthanasia, sexual harassment, or alcohol awareness - has to be played by a straight white man.
I thought that this was just an unwritten, self-enforced cultural code, as the lefties who make adverts virtue signal to each other and are terrified of being accused of racism.
Apparently not; when Transport for London dared to have some diversity in an advert and show a black guy as the baddie, the government agency that oversees adverts stepped in to ban it on the grounds that it presents a negative racial stereotype.
The further our social engineering strays from reality, the more it reminds us that all stereotypes are 100% true 100% of the time.
