5:52:30Now PlayingProsecutors plan to rest their case against Sean “Diddy” Combs on Tuesday after the defense finishes its cross-examination of Homeland Security Special Agent Joseph Cerciello. The jury has heard more than six weeks of testimony from 34 government witnesses, including ex-girlfriends, former employees and law enforcement agents.
In a surprise move Monday, Combs’s lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo, told the court that the defense won’t be calling any witnesses and will only introduce exhibits before resting its case — possibly signaling that it feels it has established enough doubt during its cross-examinations of prosecution witnesses.
