27:22Now PlayingOn Thursday's NIGHT SCHOOL, host Marc Lamont Hill was joined by political analyst Rebecca Azor and Entrepreneur and diversity expert Kwame Jackson to discuss Donald Trump's GUILTY verdict on all 34 counts of felony falsifying business records.
The jury deliberated over two days after hearing testimony about Trump's backhand dealings during the 2016 presidential election. In 2006, just one year after Trump married his current wife, Melania, he had an affair with porn star Stormy Daniel. During his 2016 presidential campaign, he paid her to keep quiet about it, fearing it would alter his chances of winning.
Trump is the first U.S. president to be criminally indicted and convicted of criminal charges. This felony conviction makes his ineligible to vote in the U.S. but he can still run and be elected president of the U.S. Trump's sentencing will be on July 11, 2024.
