The bill reduces overall funding for the programs by $50 million dollars, but takes advantage of the federal Affordable Care Act to yield about $150 milion in federal dollars.
Among the many provisions in the measure, the bill provides a five percent rate increase for nursing home workers; funds mental health programs; and continues the MinnesotaCare program.
