At a recent press conference, DFL lawmakers were joined by county attorneys and members of the Restore the Vote Coalition to advocate that voting rights be restored to people who have completed their incarceration. Senator Bobby Joe Champion, DFL-Minneapolis, is author of the Senate bill that would restore the right to vote upon completion of incarceration.
