With Republican and Democratic Senators voicing their support of the pipeline construction project, the Republican controlled Senate voted favorably on a bill that would prohibit the Department of Commerce from using state funds to continue its lawsuit on the project review process.
In other floor action, the Senate approved the Senate and House agreement to the Snow Day Relief Bill, which would allow school districts the option of holding a fewer number of school days due to the heavy snowfalls in February and March.
