4:36:00Now PlayingOn a divided 39-28 vote, the Senate passed a bill intending to send a message to Governor Tim Walz to open up Minnesota businesses that can demonstrate the ability to operate safely. Sponsored by Senator Andrew Mathews, R-Milaca, the bill, SF 4511, would require a business to follow health safety guidelines put forward by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Minnesota Department of Health.
In other action, the Senate passed the following bills:
SF 3589 (Draheim) Banks and trust companies authorized investment modification
SF 3435 (Housley) Appraisal management co. licensure fees
SF 3251 (Johnson) Mortgage financing for manufactured homes in manufactured home park cooperatives authorization
SF 3443 (Draheim) Modular home definition modifications
