4:31Now PlayingThe Minnesota Senate convened the 92nd legislative session in historic fashion due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With social distancing and safety measures in place, small groups of Senators took the oath of office in the Senate Chamber after submitting their election certificates. Supreme Court Justice G. Barry Anderson also administered the oath virtually to Senators who preferred to remain away from the State Capitol.
