Q: I was allotted a 1BHK flat in DDA's scheme in Sector 28, Rohini in 2010. What are the future prospects of this property? Should I hold it or sell it?
Answer: Rohini locality in Delhi has an average price of Rs. 5,325 per Sqft.
The locality is at the farther end of Rohini sectors and has only partially developed social infrastructure and is 8 kms from the Rithala metro station. The prices have been falling in the area for last 2-3 years although the prices have stabilized in the last quarter but it has witnessed more than 10% fall in prices in the last 1 year. As the prices have hit rock bottom, you should wait for some time for the prices to improve before taking a decision.
