The act has been a resolution by the BMC which is under consideration since 2013, and the Centre has passed the ‘Shops and Establishments Act’ exactly on the same lines.
At the India Nightlife Convention & Awards 2016 on September 25th, Aditya Thackeray told this policy will not only uplift the nightlife industry but will also boost the economy.
