Question: My son bought an apartment in Jaypee Wishtown, Sector 133, Noida in May 2010. The handover was supposed to be given within 36 months. We paid 95% of the amount as per payment schedule. I have the Power of Attorney for this property. There are 70 people who have formed an organization. What can be done?
Answer: You can independently approach court to claim damages and alternate reliefs. As a group of purchasers, form registered organized body like Co-operative Society, AOP and approach the court for reliefs which is common in nature. Suits in nature of class action for protection of common interest.
