Question: We have booked a flat with a developer last year and paid the booking amount as well towards the first instalment. The developer has given the receipt, but not the allotment letter. What are my rights to get the allotment letter or get compensation for the interest of one year of booking the flat?
Answer: Builder should execute agreement for sale in favour of client. Allotment letter means provisional booking. Ask the developer for agreement. Get the agreement registered.
