The prices range between Rs 100 to 800 fo government flights such as Air India, whereas it could go to Rs 1000 for private carriers such as Vistaara. In addition, families travelling also need to pay to have seats together. The ruling came after DGCA has made it possible for airlines to charge for seat selection fee in 2015.
