as posted by the channelMumbai traffic cop Vilas Shinde was beaten to death when on duty; his family is still awaiting compensation which was promised by the Maharashtra Government.
In fact, the state government has also assured the family that the late cop's son would get a government job. Vilas Shinde was attacked by two young boys, one a minor when he tried to stop them for riding a bike without a helmet. Shinde later succumbed to head injuries on August 31st.
