Badri Lal, a 65-yr old farmer committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. The family of the deceased said that they have been under immense pressure since a few months to repay their loan of Rs 2-3 lakh.

However, the Sub Divisional Magistrate Rakesh Meena has ruled out debt as the reason for suicide claiming that the farmer owned lands and farms and family dispute is the reason for his suicide.
