Nov 3, 20172:09Now PlayingAccording to a data released by Plan India and released by the women and child development ministry, the safest state for a woman in India is Goa, followed by Kerala, Mizoram, Sikkim and Manipur. States where women and girls are the most vulnerable are Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh and capital city Delhi. The result for first-ever gender vulnerability index (GVI) was taken upon four parameters to help identify the challenges that women face on a daily basis. These four parameters are education, health, poverty and protection against violence.
