He added that the recent spike in cases in the capital is a concern, however, the state government is well prepared to tackle it. Emphasizing his earlier stand, Kejriwal added that the country cannot be in a permanent lockdown due to the virus in a bid to halt the spread of the disease. The state government’s preparedness and future plan to ramp up healthcare facilities was discussed in detail, with the CM claiming that Delhi will have 9,000 beds ready in the next few days. During his address, the CM said that the recovery rate in the city is high with most people choosing to recover at home from the disease and that there is no need for the people to panic.
