The Makeshift hospital in BKC is a dedicated hospital care made to cater critically ill and symptomatic patients of Covid-19.
Patients are being shifted as a precautionary measures, in case city witnesses flooding tomorrow.
Patients are being shifted in buses and ambulances in batches.
BMC chief Iqbal Chahal told Mirror Now that the move is being taken " as an abundant precaution only for 2-3 days"
Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority that has constructed the hospital said while the facility can sustain strong winds of up to 100-110 kmph, it is being done as a precautionary measure.
