3:11Now PlayingThe Delhi Government had requested the Railways to give coaches of idol trains as isolation wards which are now ready as isolation centres. The government will soon begin allotting them to patients. The railway coaches come at a crucial time when the cases in the capital are surging daily. The trains are now designated as “isolation coaches” which will replace hospital beds in Delhi, in the event hospitals dedicated to Coronavirus treatment run out of space. Each coach has the capacity to accommodate 16 patients at a time, who will be required to stay In isolation until they recover. Every coach also has one oxygen cylinder in case the patients require healthcare support.
