Arindam Das reports " Deferring from the Central and the State government's decision to open up the religious places for pilgrims, the Kamakhya Temple Committee has decided to extend its lockdown for another month. At the foothills of Nilachal, security arrangements have been made. No outside vehicle is allowed to enter. The Committee members informed that "They have decided to extend the lockdown for another one month keeping in view the famous annual Ambubachi Mela, which witnesses gathering of over 30 Lakh pilgrims."
