The CJI has observed that the contractors must make a list of employees and ensure that no child labour is employed. CJI has also observed that the only policing, in this case, will not do and that it is not sufficient. The Supreme Court has sent a notice to the Centre and will hear the matter in 2 weeks. This is a very important plea made by the NGO Bachpan Bachao Andolan and can save many lives.
