In the first phase of the lockdown being eased, Karnataka will witness reopening of malls, restaurants, religious places and zoos. The government has permitted activities to continue in all areas except the containment zones. With hotels, restaurants and other hospitality services in the state being permitted to operate except in containment zones, people are still advised to opt for takeaways or deliveries, rather than dining in. With masks and sanitizers being mandated, the seating capacity has also been restricted to half. We bring you a ground report from a restaurant where people were seen relishing sizzling hot dosas and sipping of fresh filter coffee, even as they followed all norms laid down by the government.
