Balram Bhargava from ICMR says, ‘Sero survey objective is to provide scientific guidance. This was the first serosurvey conducted in May with states and the W.H.O. It started on May 20 in two parts. Estimated fraction of the population infected by #Covid19 is completed. ELISA test is being made available to states to carry out serosurvey. 15 districts in each group and 400 individuals have been studied. 83 districts in the country and 28595 households have been studied and 26400 individuals' data has been collected. High-risk groups are elderly people, those with co-morbid conditions and pregnant women.’
